Why WO tmy 1993 ford f250 start after I replaced the o ring in the distributor?

I replaced the O ring on the distributor and after I put the distributor back In the
block and tried to start it , it cranked two times then it stopped all together
..now when I turn the key it only  engages the fule pump  and won't crank or turn  
over..what is the problem ?

The distributor/rotor has to be installed in the same orientation as it was removed. Can I assume you didn't do this? You will need to remove it and position it back in correctly.
