Question type: Maintenance & Repair

was driving my 95 e150 today when i heard a whine and then sounds like something breaking in the engine area.  found a round doughnut like thing that fell out of the car in the road and i lost my power steering.  is the belt all in one or any ideas.

take it to midas or goodyear or whoever does belts and have them put a new belt in...will need a new tensioner and perhaps this donut is apart of your ailing tensioner....take it in and find out~

Yes, it's informally called a "Serpentine Belt" but Ford likes to call it a FEAD Belt (Front Engine Accessory Drive). Yes, it's all in one, no, don't drive it, your Water Pump (Along with your power steering) isn't doing anything either.
