At a loss

Asked by Jul 21, 2019 at 09:34 PM about the 1997 Ford F-250

Question type: General

I have a 1997 Ford F250 HD. Saturday I did an engine
compression test to try eliminating the cause of smoke
coming out of my exhaust. Now the truck will crank but
wont  run. Any ideas?

Diesel or gas?

Gas two tank

Did you mix up the plug wires after the compression test?

No, I numbered them before removal ad triple checked connection. Also used a light tester on plugs to make sure power going to it. The fuel pressure seems a little low but I just replaced the fuel pump last week.
