first do you have 12 Volts at the battery? if yes then it could be the starter relay or the starter

yes 12 volts at battery when I first tried to start truck ignition switch would not turn I then sprayed penetrating oil into siwct and let sit over night now switch turns but nothing happens, no sound, click nothing, lights on dash mildly dim when I turn ignition switch. Battery warning light in dash stays on when I turn switch, figure that would go out only once motor is running.

all other lights working

test all and ignition switch bad jumped starter and got it running enough to move to another location thanks for all your help

JohnEP or Joemon .......where do I find the starter relay switch or the solenoid located at in th engine compartment.? On a 1998 E350 econoline ....when I turn the key it just clicks allnlights com on ... I changed He starter and the battery.. already...
