the gauges do not work battery keeps draining what can it be
My ford. E350 cut van just stopped dead in its track no lights and it drains the
battery replaced the battery and it drained it also I need help finding the fuel
Get your battery recharged and tested, replace it if necessary, then leave one cable disconnected, put a test light between the cable and battery post, make sure everything is off and the doors closed, look for the test light to be lit, if it is then electrically disconnect the alternator, if the light goes out then there is your problem, a bad alternator, if it doesn't then you have to pull the fuses one at a time noting where each fuse came from until the light goes out, once it does then you have to find what componets are on the circuit, locate and repair or replace the problem part or parts, then start putting the fuses back watching the lamp to make sure nothing turns it on. The fuel pump.fuse should be in the power distribution box and it will be marked.
