I think too much transmission fluid
2&a half court over stopping it from
going into gear to drive

I have never heard of too much fluid causing that kind of problem, but anything is possible anymore, usually not enough fluid that causes the trans not to engage. I would get the level back to operational range with the engine running warm, other wise the fluid could have foaming problems and then the pump would start buzzing due to air in the fluid.
