rusted out frezze plug, their is 8 on the block 4 under each head

would these visibly be leaking fluid

yes would be leaking from under motor, also check the oil dip stick, see if milkey looking or just oil,if milkey blown head gasket.

no external leak oil ok, ??

as long as it dont overheat or loose collent you should be ok.one more thing, you posted a new thermostat was installed, try another one, sometimes a new one especally a stant,if that is what you put in will be bad, could be stuck open,if stant is all you can get,get the heavy duty one.

it never overheated but engine stalls after 20-25 min idle or with stat in reaching normal op temp. is there a bleeder plug or screw to release any air pockets in cooling system?

no but if yo feel like it is a air pocket in system ,remove rad cap let it idle, will burp out any air.is the rad cap new .

no rad cap just overfill bottle

that cap goes bad also, lets the system leak down, try a new one.
