I just put a new fuel pump and new fuel filter in my 2001 ford sport trac but its not starting

The truck never had any issues until the
fuel pump went out and now its hard to
start

First thing I would check is if the fuel filter was install in the correct orientation. There are arrows on the filter assembly itself. Arrow should be pointing to the front of the car/engine side. If this is backward, you will get a no start of no run condition. Let us know.

I just looked everything is in right but the truck will not start

Check the fuel relay,may have been the issue instead of fuel pump.

Just checked the fuel relay is fine
