why is my ford not getting fuel

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck was running fine and I stopped for gas.  After fuel up, truck would not start.  Have checked the collision control.  There is no power to the collision control and the gauges are not working.

have you pushed the RED button yet? (is located on the driver's kick panel) might be black...but this button will restore fuel pressure~

if you or someone else touched bumpers would have triggered this "safety" feature which inhibits any fuel pressure (in case a roll-over accident)~

Check fuses as well. Not positive about the 04 model, but on the 94 model there's a fuse block under the dash above the e-brake and then on the driver side wheel well under the hood.

I have 2004 f-250 I was driving from NC to NJ when my truck started losing power. I took it to a mechanic who said my fuel pump had went. He replaced the pump and the truck drove fine until I got about 100 miles away from his shop. What could be the cause of it doing the same thing?
