Dodge Ram.

Asked by Jan 25, 2017 at 12:58 AM about the 1996 Dodge Ram 2500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes when I start up my 1996 Dodge
Ram 2500 v10 it will just die. It fires up no
problem then dies down unless I keep the
rpms up myself. It will drive fine and after a
few minutes the problem is gone. Just
sometimes this happens.

Could be a sticky ISC unit or a dirty throttle body, how is the condition of the tune of the engine, plugs, filters, PCV system?
