1997 dodge ram 1500 stumbling and stalling when accelerating until high speeds also high revs before it hitting 4th/overdrive
yes please help!!i have replaced spark plugs,cap&rotor,but wires looked good,tps
sensor,the overdrive speed sensor,rear diff. speed sensor and also the injectors & fuel
pump.but it did a change from where it was before.it starts up like a champ but idles a
little high.then took my truck up to the store and got the codes read, nothing but one
code saying low voltage tps sensor??if someone can give an answer why my truck is
doing all this nonesense and how i can fix it?? please and thnks
As you have already replaced the TPS you need to measure the reference voltage to the sensor, it should be very close to 5 volts with key on engine off. If it is not that voltage then you need to trace out the circuit. If the voltage is 5 then check the sensor ground for a good connection. To go much further you really need a code reader that has "live data" streaming so you can see the sensors operation.
