thats what the scanner showed it needed. we replaced the fuel pump & pickup coil & the crankshaft sensor. all 3 parts replaced is what the scanner said was wrong with it first. now it says its the computer

The scanner will not repair your vehicle. you need to diagnose it. there is probably nothing wrong with the PCM. Tell me the back story.

it started with no pressure in the fuel line. diagnosed new fuel pump do thats what i did. got pressure & fire but wasnt releasing gas from rejectots. then it was diagnosed crank sensor so replaced that. still nothing & pickup coil still nothing. mie diagnoses reads computer

Did you make sure it's not in security lock out? theft/security light on dash?

Check fuel injector relay? You definitely do not need a PCM. Did all the other parts the scanner say take care of the issue?

could u please tell me where the relay is located? one mechanic told me he checked but im not so sure he did. i had another vehicle a few years back that was exactly what was wrong with that one.

Try locking then unlocking passenger door with key (NOT FOB ) don't do it fast just slow, lock wait a bit then unlock. then see if it will start. you should also see a theft or security light on dash.

The job of the ASD circuit is to turn the fuel n spark on n off when you stick the key in the ignition n say to your marvel of electro-mechanical technology...I wanna go somewhere. Just swap the ASD relay for one of the other like relays in your integrated power module n try to start her up. When it comes to what a scanner tells you about whats rong with your machine...it's like your wife/girlfriend saying...if you don't already know what's rong, then I'm not going to tell you!!! Even the $30,000 artificial intelligence behemoths like to communicate in cryptic pronouns n runon sentences because lawyers designed their technical language, not mechanics. That's why everyone likes to fire the proverbial parts cannon at your beast, only to discover, hey, the last guy didn't know what he/she was talking about. You're now on a one way trip to the poor house. You gotta be a technician first, n a mechanic second and as specific as your knowledge takes you when describing your problem with these bad boys.

ok heres the scoop...I have been out of town so unable to focus on my pickup fir the last 2 weeks. The last thing I tried was security lockout & still nothing.I still have not tried fuel pump relay cause I'm still unable to find it. I do not have any knowledge of car repairs & that being said I blame it on being a female. I do not have the funds to keep buying part after part only to find it still didn't help. After replacing fuel pump & sensors & thats what diagnostics told us now diagnostic says computer. A number of people (mechanics) don't think so myself included probably myself because I cant afford to buy yet another part & not returnable if its not the problem. I am becoming desperate I need my vehicle. I am afoot & its not fun! please help I am at a loss of what to do.
