My pickup feels it wants to die

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission recently rebuilt when I come to a stop it
feels like my pickup wants to die it Jerks real hard as if it
was a 4 speed and I didn't use the clutch but it's an
automatic, I put it into neutral till I come to a complete
stop then when I take off it sluggish till I get up till a high

Could be a torque converter control problem, solenoids not dumping pressure when they are suppose too or a TCM malfunction. I would take it back to where the tranny work was done and tell them what your experancing
