Have a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500. And shows no error code. But 1 mechanic said the fuel injector pump needed replaced. ? Now what? It's a 1,700 part labor and all.
So when I pull a heavy load only on inclines it totally loses power.
It shows no error codes when hooked to dionostic machine. So took it to another man
and he said it was the fuel injector pump was bad and needed replaced. This truck has
only 139,000 original miles on it and runs like a dream until I hook up to my horse trailer
are heavy load. And seems to do it after about 20 miles down the road and ONLY ON A
HILL r incline? I am puzzled? What in the world should I Do!
A country Girl needs some sound advice.. Thanks Deb
Hello, What engine...?? Clues: Only with a load (trailer), only after 20 minutes (time & temp). I would suspect that you are not getting full fuel flow... It also sounds a Cummins you have in their...pump would be for a diesel... Tell me more, Good Luck, AskTrannyMan
