blinker doesn't work, made buzzing noise and kinda worked, now no noise and doesn't work at all. Bulbs and fuse look to be ok. Any suggestions?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Blinker on my 2000 Ram 1500 would make noise when engaged and work
sporadically. Now there's no noise and no blinkers. My son said all bulbs and
fuses were good. (unable to work on it myself) Any ideas? Is it the blinker
lever itself? Window washer and all that still works. Thanks.

My thoughts are blinker relay, clean out all bulb sockets, make sure the bulbs themselves don't have corrosion on them. If that does not work then perhaps the stalk might need replacement. Good Luck!
