Your egr valve could be stuck open causing it not to start.

Have you check you fuel pressure? And are the spark plugs firing?

Is it not firing or no fuel?

might need new plug wires also.

also check the connections to the coil.

I have new wires and plugs. how do I check the pressure? it will crank but not start, plugs have spark. how do I check egr valve?

Turn key on.Get underneath it and smack the gas tank in the center with a hammer and see if it starts pumping. If it does you need a fuel pump.

tuff4x4 : I have already replaced the fuel pump, and complete assembly, and relay switch under hood. also the plugs, wires, cap / rotor . also tried to reset ecm by disconnecting battery and waiting 30 minutes. newer battery 900 cca, cant quite figure out what the problem is. 185000 miles. could it be the tps, or egr or O2 sensors?

Get a test light and pull one of the injector plug ins off. First test for power when cranking. Then switch your test light lead to power + on battery and see if it is getting ground when cranking.
