Dodge Ram 2500 Power loss
The first symptom was when I started the
truck and it fired and immediately died. On
the second attempt the truck started and
ran fine. Two days later, when setting at an
intersection the RPM's dropped way below
idle and was very rough for 5 or 10
seconds before revving and taking off.
When the RPM's drop, throttle position
does not affect anything. This happened
two more times before I was able to get
the truck home, both times at low RPM.
The truck has the origional stock intake lift
pump and a relatively new fuel pump.
When idling there seems to be a slight
rattle that I never noticed before, but I
cannot seem to pinpoint it. What could my
problem be? I also already changed the
camshaft positioning sensor.
clean the throttle body?
