Passenger day light running light dim red glow

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Magnum R/T was in a recent low speed accident and the front end
bumper etc and driver side head light assembly was replaced. Professional
shop replaced the damaged front end, however the passenger day time
driving light had only a red glow to it. New bulbs did not correct the
issue.Body shop was unable to determin the problem. Car taken to a
Mechanica shop with electronic repair kit and specialist. Apparently voltage
and amps to both sides OK. Pulse to driver side light good, passenger side
poor.Wiring from driver side to Passenger side replaced in case it had been
damaged in accident, problem not cured. Wire driver side to module by
passed to passenger light and light came on properly and it was determined
the module was deffective. Module was replaced and passenger light
worked for about 10 minutes and then failed. another module was provided
and the same thing happened. the Garage was at a lose as to the problem.
I have been recommended to go see a person who "PLAYS WITH THE
COMPUTERS AND MODULES " to determine the problem and fix it. I am
scared to do that but am desperate to get the light fixed on the passenger
side and can't understand why as the light was not damaged in the accident
the problem exists. All fuses are OK. What could the problem be? does it
have anything to do wit the fog light wiring which was worked on when the
front end was changed.
I also now have a problem with the washer fluid not pumping out on the
windshield and rear window and the Temperature guage on the dash is not
now working. Note 4 days prior to the accident the Dodge dealership
changed the computer on the car to cure Oil pressure and engine light
issue on the dash. At that time all systems on the car were checked and all
were performing correctly including all guage's and lights. This problem has
started to be expensive to cure as the issue with accident insurance is if the
accident caused the problems or not. Nobody is willing t giver an estimate
for finding and repairing the problem.  HELP!

I'd take it back to the Dodge Dealer. Sounds like a bad ground to me. They should have wiring diagrams to be able to see what's going on. Some cars have pigtail ground wires bolted to the fender(s) that if not hooked up can wreak havoc on the lighting system. HTH. -Jim
