I have an 06 dodge ram 1500, and my front right wheel bearing is shot and am planning on replacing it and was just wondering if it is worth doing the other side at the same time. and should a wheel alignment be done afterwards or is it not necessary?

do both and you haven't changed the toe-in or camber so I wouldn't think you need a wheel alignment

you can do just one at a time if its been bad for a while and there is wear on the tires then i would have the alignment checked just to make sure

yes, you should do both. this is a common issue with these trucks. and yes, you should do an alignment any time you take the front end apart.

you need to check with Dodge on re-call. on my 06 Dodge 1500 Ram 4X4 they had a recall on the hub assembly. if you change one you need to change both. but check if your is on the recall first.

what size socket do I need for the backside bolts on a 2wd 2008 dodge ram front hub assembly?
