left rear tail light out. New bulb inserted, fuse OK.

Check for a broken wire at that tail light or a loose ground wire.

Also check for corrosion in bulb socket. Will look kind of greenish on the terminals. Also use bulb grease when installing new bulbs. Test socket for voltage and ground(negative). If you have both try another bulb.

Thanks. I reinserted both turn signal and brake light bulbs after carefully cleaning and adjusting the 4 contacts on each bulb...made the contacts fit a little tighter...that did the trick! Thanks again for your quick reply!
