My daughters 2006 PT Cruiser keeps overheating. i have replaced waterpump, timing belt, thermus stat, raidiator cap and coolent sensor. and still gauge keeps rising to hot, someone please help
Sounds like a head gasket or warped cylinder head. Check the head gasket. There is a kit that will test the coolant system to see if there are combustion gasses in the coolant system, meaning a leaking head gasket or head.
And do a compression test on all cylinders as a bad head gasket will lest pressure escape.
Is it losing coolant or is it just getting hot?
