sitting about a year, pack rats got into engine area.
Not getting fuel, starts with starting fluid then dies. Don't hear fuel pump, suspect chewed wire. Where is pump located and wire running to it located. Ran perfectly when put into storage.
take a look at the damage...there are wiring harnesses for the engine....they aren't much fun....every single system has an electrical connection to it....just examine, you may need to only replace one or two wires out of the wire loom~
I love the Buick Roadmonster!
Fuel pump is in the tank, most times if they sit for long the pumps just quit working, the wiring runs along the frame rail from the fuel tank forward to the engine compartment, there should be a relay box under the hood where most of the main relays are. Take your time and examine the harness carefully, one missed circuit can really cause a headache. I would recommend getting a good wiring diagram book for you Buick.
make sure fuel is present, bang on tank, jar sticking impeller, jog severl times, that's all!
