Fuel pump

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes the car starts and sometimes the fuel
pump won't kick on. Replaced fuel pump but the
it's doing the same thing. Something making fuel
pump not work sometimes.

You may need to replace the fuel filters. There is two of them along the gas line. One outside the tank and one by the injectors.

Check your connection to the computer 3rd generation buicks the plug tends to be loose and starts to corrode and melt
