Check the fuse board for a blown fuse.

I purchased a 94 GMC Safari, used, and the cig lighter didn't work, fuse was fine, all the acc' that run off that curcit worked, went to replace it and found out that the old owner took out his radio (aftermarket) and put the factory back in, well to make a long story short, he forgot to plug it back in. If your fuses are ok, and the other items that are on that curcit work, check that it is plugged in, if all that checks out you more than likely are going to have to replace it. Hope this helps
