The temperature control nobs do not work properly. I have a 2004 Buick Rendezvous, and when I turn the control nobs to adjust the temperature the digital temp will go all over the place with no predictability. If I try to turn it up, the temp may go up or down. If I try to turn it down, the temp may go up or down. It takes a long time of fooling around with the controls to try to get the temp that I want. Is there anyway to fix this?

new battery, new starter new, new starter relay, new ignition relay, when turn key nothing to starter solenoid. if I leave key on and jump solenoid to battery it starts and runs fine
