Ik I have a 1990 ford f150 300 6cylinder and I've replaced the stater and sylinoid and coil and it seems to not be getting any fire could anyone plz help me with this I really like the ole truck
Check main fuses in fuse box under the hood maybe a blown ignition fuse or some other main fuse. Also check ignition control module
Ik where's my ignition control module located at on this truck at
I had it running and went to back it up and she jus died on me and wouldn't start again so I replaced the sylinoid and coil and nothing
It is mounting on the side of the distributor.
Is there any way to test the ignition control module
Not that I know of but you can ask the parts person at a parts store they may test it for you
Yes and thank you firebird338 they tested it for me and said it was a badmodule
So I got a new one and getting ready to put it on an we will see
Thanks you for letting me know they can test them. Been retired for awhile and never had to test to see if it was bad or not. The ones I have replaced just happen to be bad and no need for testing.
