What causes no fuel to get to motor?
I have a 1991 Ford F150. I just replaced the fuel pump on it, and now there
is no fuel getting to engine. Tried spraying starting fluid into throttle body
while cranking engine and it tried to start. According to auto store the
ignertia switch is good. You can hear the fuel pump kicking on and the relay
is clicking as it should. What am I missing? It also has dual tanks but the
front tank has not worked in years.
Is there fuel in the tank?
Yes there is, we put 2 gas cans back into the tank one was 10 gallons the other 5.
I just don't know what to check next
Yes the front tank has not worked in years, we have always used the rear tank.
My apologies for not reading through your question - that you clearly stated that. Second apology for I have no answer, was going to say the switch valve between tanks
Could that be a problem even if we haven't used this option?
Is there another full pump on this truck. I have been told it has 3 one in each tank and one by the fuel filter. is this true?
