1995 Ford F150 Pickup truck, I have no tail lights or license plate lights, all other lights work, even the brake lights and turn signal, what could be the problem?
You may have a blown fuse. Check that first,.
So if the front marker lights work then the circuit power supply is good, as it is just in the rear check the wiring pigtail where the frame harness connects to the rear lighting harness for tail light voltage, if you have it there then the problem is in the tail light feed wire somewhere in that harness, look for rubbed through wiring, and if it has a trailer plug check that too, if ther is no power at the rear pigtail then look under the hood for the frame harness plug about a foot or so from the main bulkhead connector and check for power there, as the front light work then it is possible that the frame wiring is damaged somewhere along it' s length In the frame rail. Fortunately this is a fairly simple system and should not be too hard to trace it down.
