Why would a 1996 f150 lose all forward gears

Your truck is an automatic? It could be low fluid level or a shot trans. If it is a manual then it could be the clutch.


Could be a bad shifter solenoid..

It's an automatic


Shift solenoid, clutch solenoid, pump or torque converter can cause this problem.
