check engine light blinks while driving

Check  engine  light  blinks  while  driving  but  don't  feel  like  it  effects  how  
it's  running , also not  firering  right  on  number  7  cylinder  comes and goes

A flashing check engine light is telling you the engine is misfiring and damaging the catalytic converter. Since you know something is going on with cylinder number 7 start there. That's most likely what's triggering the check engine light. Are you due for a tune up? HTH. - Jim


Sparkplug, plug wire (if equipped) or bad coil on plug (if equipped) are the likely causes. When were the sparkplugs last changed? How many miles on this F-150?
