Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1998 ford F150 battery is continuously draining and There was a continuous buzzing noise that would buzz till the battery goes dead. I could not shut it off. The electronics never shuts off.  ignition switch does not turn off, When running it continues to try to engage the starter the truck stalled and then started by itself. The truck will not turn off all the way, meaning the engine shuts off but the electronics will not shut off all the way.  Am I looking at a ignition switch issue or steering column key assembly?Maybe even both?  Or would there be another part I should look at?

Is the buzzing coming from a fuse panel? I suspect a bad relay. The ignition switch may also be bad.

I have changed the key assembly as well as the neutral safety switch. The engine starts up fine and while running the starter motor tries to engage as if you were trying to start an already running engine. Any help with this?

I believe it is the cable that needs to e adjusted from the key to the neutral safety switch. It is holding the neutral safety switch in the start position. I will comment back if this resolves the issue. Watch this video as it provide a good working overview. (https://youtu.be/xkAVOO0aoz4)
