When my truck is on the road I step on the gas pedal the MPH rises up to like 30 and doesn't go faster and I look at the RPM'S and its going like at 3 to 4 RPM'S i want to know what could it be
If the RPM's of your engine are increasing, but the speed is not suspect a transmission problem. Check the level of the transmission fluid. If level is OK consult a professional.
You don't say if this is manual or automatic. If it is manual I think your clutch is slipping. If it is just in the gauges, then the mainsprings are probably weak and giving a false reading.
