MY 2003 FORD F 150 WILL NOT IDLE WHEN STOPPED ,ONCE YOU HIT THE GAS IT WILL RUN FINE UNTILL YOU STOP AGAIN. ANY IDEAS WHAT IS WRONG?
Most probably a dirty throttle body. Carbon buildup will cause the valve to stick. Clean it out with throttle body cleaner. Check on youtube on how to do it properly. Also clean out the IAC while your at it.
If cleaning the throttle body doesn't help it I would suspect the IAC (Idle Air Control). Is the check engine light lit?
