The 87 tbird sport w/ the 5.0 V8 can have a manual tranny. I have this exact car. I got it for free, so I haven't looked real close at it. I think it might be a five speed? The engine and tranny were pulled to repair some front end damage. I got it in pieces. I'd have to look closer.

try looking for a ford t-5 from a mustang, tbird, couger, or truck.

I'd be interested to know what manual tansmission/engine works with in t-bird. Please let me know if you decipher the code. Thanks.
