1983 T-Bird Heater Core
I need to replace the heater core in a 1983 T-Bird. I have taken off the dash and have started working to remove the box that the heater core is in, but it looks like one or more of the bolts is on the other side of the firewall, is that right? Also, there is another bolt that looks like it is bolted through to the engine compartment. How do I get it out or should I just take off the top and remove the heater core while the box is still mounted to the car?
first you going at it wrong.u dont have to remove dash, under dash where heat comes out remove the black box the long one heater core is behind it,will see a metal plate 2 screws remove them and plate will see H C remove the 2 clips top and bottom are bolted in pull out put new one in.
