How many 70 and 71 4 door T-Birds is still out there??

70,995

Probably not many. Most were probably junked years ago simply because collectors had very little interest in 4 door models. The big V8 engines in these cars became more valuable than the whole car. Same was true for cars like the Nova, Tempest, Chevelle, Impala, Valiant, Fury, etc. These were workaday family sedans that Dad drove to work, the grocery store, etc. I'm sure as time goes by they'll be at least somewhat collectable as people, like myself, who have fond memories of these cars get into a position to buy one. The '73 Ford LTD 4 door hardtop that we had when I was a kid has great memories for me. Family vacations, trips to Grandmom's house, etc. I'd consider buying one. HTH. -Jim
