how to stop windshield wipers from running?

unplug the plug on wiper motor,that may be your problem,bad motor.

This is a system that runs off of your power steering pump and will have nothing to do with electrical. I would look into the switch on the dash. If I remember correctly there is a cable that runs from the motor to the switch lever. My guess would be this needs adjusted.
