I just purchased a 1966 T-Bird. I have two problems.

Asked by Stelvio_10 Feb 11, 2017 at 12:01 PM about the 1966 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1. I had the brakes redone (front disc, rear drums).  When I apply brakes, front wheels grab.  Does a nose stand.  I have had them adjusted a few times but they still grab.  2.  I have a 428 engine and have had it completely tuned up, wires, plugs, points but it still starts with difficulty ( when cold ).  Anyone have ideas?

Check your brakes proportioning valve. Check fuel pressure and carb's accelerator pump for hard starts.
