Could be a bad fuel pump, ford used a mechanical fuel pump that goes into the engine block and also has the filter attached.

It should looklike the picture, also here a link to the part but your local auto parts store should also carry it in stock. You could try cleaning out the fuel filter and see if the fixes the no fuel issue as well.

I wouldn't try to clean the fuel filter... just replace it. they're cheap
