fuel, temp and oil pressure indicators

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 65 T-Bird that the Fuel, Temp and oil pressure indicators will go to the right of the
instrument when I power up the care.  I saw two connections in the shop manual that I
would like to check but have no idea where they are located to check for broken or
shorted wires.  Maybe you can give me an idea what or where the problem may be.

When the gauges swing to full, hot, and high, it's a bad power connection for the gauges. A bad ground will swing them the other way. (Empty, cold, and low). HTH. -Jim
