1964 thunderbird brake lights don't work
Have you checked the turn signal switch? It cancels brake lights when in operation, the contacts wear out on the switch plate so the circuits are not complete when the signals are off. Do the 4 ways work?
I'll check that next, I'm not sure what 4 ways are but all the other light systems on the car work as advertised
4Way flashers, little black knob on the right side of the steering column.
Oh! Yes they work, turn signals both work, reverse lights work, just no brake lights when you press the pedal but the switch is working at the master cylinder and I know a lot of 64's were fitted with relays by the washer bladder but of course mine doesn't. Nothing is easy right?
it's your turn signal switch staying in the brake light cancel mode.
After market sequenchal moduel will fix problem for good.
