Why do I find water in the trunk of my 64 t bird convertible even if I never drive it in the rain

You may have a bad trunk seal, so when you wash it that's probably the source of the water.

Answer one is probally correct,or water is collecting in tje flip pannel,and when you put top down it drains into trunk.
