changing a fan on a 390 thunderbird to an electric fan

Asked by Apr 14, 2016 at 01:39 PM about the 1963 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I want to change the standard engine fan with an electric fan on a 1963
ford thunderbird. Anyone carried out this conversion or  anyone know of a
suitable fan make or where to get one.
Reason:- the motor is a 390 and here in UK gas is $8.60 per gallon and I'd
also like to make the motor run quieter ( main reason)

any fitting guidance would be appreciated.

Hello, I've always enjoyed the T-Birds '67 (428s) There are lots of choices for your 390FE check online. This is one of many sources. I'm not connected to them in anyway! Ann Arbor,MI
