Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have 2 headrests for a 1955 Thunderbird to sell, but I can't find that part anywhere to
know what they're worth.

Unfortunately probably not much. Head restraints did not become required until the 1969 model year and nobody ordered them. Same with seatbelts, (before '67) or any other safety equipment that was going to cost money. It just wasn't a priority. It was a different world. GM offered a driver's side airbag and anti-lock brakes as early as 1973. Nobody wanted these extra cost options so if you do find a car equipped with either of these options it's a very rare bird. Just like a '55 Thunderbird equipped with head restraints. HTH. -Jim

Put them on eBay. Bidders will determine the true value of them. Something is only worth "what a willing buyer will pay to a willing seller".
