Which bucket seats are compatible?

Asked by Apr 02, 2009 at 09:59 PM about the 1987 Ford Ranger

Question type: Car Customization

Hey i've got a 87 Ranger, with a bench seat, that i've removed, and am wondering what are compatible years for bucket seats? I went and got 2 BroncoII seats, but the rails won't fit because of the hump in console metal..

Anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

Get out an angle grinder and solve that problem. or weld a ledge that will hold the rails.

try the split bench rails , I just put 84 bronco II seats in 89 ranger , not sure if 87 had split bench upgrade though

get a welder... you can make anything work... a friend of mine has an 86 with seats out of a civic....

i got seats out of an explorer and put the brackets from my bench and a half on them and bolted right up. id rather swap for a bench tho. anyone interested in them i live in texas. 9403724408
