Cylinder Head Gasket Replacement

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Noticed that Ford blocked two out of  three coolant ports off on the original head gasket (intake manifold side of the head). The new replacement head gasket is set up the same way (to block two out of the three coolant ports off) on the intake manifold side of the head. The three ports on the exhaust manifold side of the head are wide open thus allowing for maximum coolant circulation. The Question is Why are theyblocked off on the intake manifold side ???

that is just the way ford made them, cheep, they are through away cars, like the K cars Chrystler made.get so many miles on them, get rid of it.
