on my 1988 f150 the fuel pump keeps runninng. i replaced the pump, filter, and relay. still no power then i noticed a loose wire going to the relay i plug it in then the pump turns on but wont stop. the truck still doesnt start. any advice or tips

May have a bad fuel pump, check the fuel pressure to verify.
