Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1988 ford f150 has low oil pressure and a faulty light switch. I know that one of the head gasket seals leaks but it shouldnt cause it to drop as low as it is. im wonderin if it could be something else? The light switch is a got this wierd thing about only turning my head lights and tail lights on when i get it in just the right spot its a pull out switch. can it be fixed or do i need a new one?

you need to replace the switch,as for oil pressure showing low, replace your oil sending unit,it should be near the PS unplug wire unscrew it replace,as for your leak, try a bottle of head gasket sealent, just follow the directions on bottle.also check your oil,if dipstick looks milkey, you have a blown head gasket.
