Another problem with my F150
when i try to start my truck it just clicks, when i put a jumper cables on it it pops right off, its. Now heres the thing, its not the alternator i dont think, cause it runs fine when it gets goin, i can use the lights and radio and etc. so i dont think its that, i replaced the battery terminals with new ones, and checked the negative cables, and seems to be a good ground. when i jump it it pops right off, then i let it run for however long and when i shut it off, even if i try to start it right away it just clicks again like theres no charge in the battery! Can that be the starter?
I think it's your battery
yeap, your battery is done
It probably is the battery, but first check the terminal ground block ( on the passenger side firewall) for corrosion. It is sometimes very hard to see if the corrosion is in the wire itself. This will cause enough resistance to prevent the starter from turning and thus just the click from the terminal
It could be your battery or your sylinoid. Clean the posts on your sylinoid first to see if that helps, if not, then the others are right. Its your battery.
