got fuel and spark but wont run all does is wanna fire
need to know a little more is it a 6 or 8 and have you done anything yet or did this just start all of a sudden
check moduel on dist
it got a 5.0 changed coil made improvement still not running if the chip on dist goes dont u lose all spark wont fire at all
not really you could take out and have parts store check to see if it's still good. usually don't charge to check it out
put a new moduel in and still doin same thing got new coil new fuel pressure reg both pumps working there any other sensors dat could be giving me havoc lol
could the timing b the problem i it jumped time
it could might want to check the dist gear first. ps if it jumped most likely would turn over faster than normal.
ps i forgot to ask are all your wires on your starter solenoid connected
k thanks me gonna put number 1 cycl on top and c if the rotor pointed to num 1 if dat ok then me have pull dist check da gear
yep checked all wires and fusible links
then it has to be either brain or ignition switch[ the electrical ignition switch] on colume. but most likely brain [not cheap]
Have you tried a little starting fluid in the intake to see if it will and run for a bit on that? If it will then you have a fuel delivery problem, injectors or no injector pulse, check injector fuse, if won't run then you have either an ignition or compression problems. Check your spark plugs for proper gap and heat range also my want to run a dry then wet compression test.
i chek everyting you guy tell me but dont run and the two injector wire got power when i move the dist the fuel pump run this truk got me sick
Did you ever figure this out mines doing the exact same thing.everything's working like it should enjectors have power just not fireing the enjectors
My truck is too I have a 93 F150 5.8 I change spark plug wires spark plugs the computer I tried adding gas into the intake I've tried firing orders 13726548 and 15426378 and still will not
I got my truck runing, time was off a lot
Did anyone figure this out? I am working on a 93 ford f150 4.9L. Fuel pump works. Good pressure. All cylinders are getting spark. Great compression. Plenty of air. Rotor turns. Its timed right. And it will not start! Even using starting fluid! Any ideas? Please!
Well... this forum sucks! Thanks for nothing! But just so ya know the exhaust was plugged and fouled or burnt the plugs. So after unplugging the exhaust and doing a tune up on it runs!
